The mission will take place at the Millennium Heights Medical Complex and St. Jude Hospital, bringing together a team of specialized medical professionals to address a wide range of hand and upper extremity conditions affecting both children and adults.
Services provided during the mission will cover the full spectrum of hand-related medical needs. These include treatment for soft tissue and bone injuries, congenital anomalies, nerve palsies, and burns. Patients will also have access to care for elective conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, and carpometacarpal arthritis.
As part of the process, all registered patients are required to attend an initial review and scheduling session conducted by the Hand Help medical and surgical team on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Screenings will be held at the Owen King EU Hospital from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and at St. Jude Hospital from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Walk-in patients will also be accommodated, along with individuals who previously received surgical care and wish to undergo follow-up evaluations. Patients who participated in last year’s mission are especially encouraged to attend these sessions to assess their healing progress and determine whether additional care is required.
The initiative reflects the Ministry’s continued commitment to expanding access to specialized healthcare services and improving the quality of life for Saint Lucians.
