Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre underscored the importance of recognising and celebrating citizens while they are still able to appreciate the nation’s gratitude. He noted that Saint Lucia must develop a stronger culture of “giving people their flowers while they are alive,” acknowledging their sacrifices, service and contribution to national development. The Prime Minister said the investiture provides an important opportunity not only to confer honours, but to say thank you to Saint Lucians whose work has made a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
The Government and people of Saint Lucia proudly congratulate all of the honourees and their families on this distinguished recognition and thank them for their service to our country.
