At the handover ceremony held on August 12th, 2024, Prime Minister Pierre promised both the people of Taiwan and Saint Lucia complete accountability and transparency in the use of these funds.
“We take that money to invest in the people of Saint Lucia and the people can see how that money is invested. When you ask how we used the Taiwanese grant funds, we can tell you exactly what we did with it,” explained PM Pierre.
