TS Tammy’s path is predicted as “between Saint Lucia and Antigua”. This level of uncertainty has NEMAC, as well as other regional agencies, on guard. Acting Prime Minister, Hon. Shawn Edward, addressed the nation after the conclusion of a preemptive NEMAC meeting.

“We had made the assessment with the Met Office that we are not in the direct path of [TS Tammy]. We will continue to monitor [as] weather prediction is a science that is inexact. The best we can do is to ensure that we are adequately prepared for any eventuality,” Edward told the nation at about 3:30 pm on Thursday.
