Saint Lucia Cricketers Defeat Dominica

RICKET: In a thrilling start to the Windwards Women’s Super 50 Championship, Saint Lucia emerged victorious in the opening match against Dominica Women, showcasing an impressive performance with both bat and ball.

On Feb 11, Saint Lucia defeated Dominica by 127 runs in the Women’s Super-50 Cup championship. Nerissa Crafton scored a brilliant 125 off 95 balls, including 16 fours and 4 sixes.

Saint Lucia batted first and scored 307 runs with contributions from Zaida James, Qiana Joseph, and Selena Ross. Dominica's Pearle Etienne took three wickets while Amiah Gilbert and Rosilia Registe took three and two wickets, respectively.

In response, Dominica fell short, scoring 180 for 9 in their 50 overs. Malika Edward took three wickets, Natalia Philip took two wickets, and Selena Ross and Zadia James took two and one wicket, respectively, for Saint Lucia.
