Of particularly good news to him, Norbert disclosed that the developers interested in the Westin Le Paradis at Praslin Bay have made a downpayment.

This announcement follows previous teases made by government officials regarding a pending completion of the over 600-acre development on the east coast.

“On Friday, I’m going to attend a presentation by 1881-Developers. These are the persons who have made a downpayment on what we knew as Le Paradis. Things are looking very, very bright as it relates to that project. Works may start later down in the year,” the MP disclosed.

1881 Developers is a UK-based property development company.

Phase 1 of 4 of the Hotel and Marin was 52% complete. The property was subsequently put on the market for USD 29 million, although it was worth an estimated USD 250 million.
