The United States is one of the key target markets for Saint Lucian exporters, where Saint Lucia has recorded a notable increase in demand for Saint Lucian products. As a response, the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) recently visited the island, with the aim of engaging with key exporters to ensure compliance with the safety standards set by the agency.

Initial feedback from the exporters indicates that the audited firms were pleased with the USFDA checks, which will further solidify Saint Lucia's reputation as a reliable and reputable trading partner.

By implementing targeted policies, we aim to empower our enterprises to thrive in today's dynamic global landscape, ensuring a brighter future for our people, the economy of Saint Lucia, and very importantly, our customers," said Commerce Minister Emma Hippolyte.

The global appetite for Saint Lucian products underscores the successful positioning of the nation's goods in the international market.
