Increased Air Traffic Into Saint Lucia; SLTA Moves for More Air Carriage

n Tuesday, April 9th, the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority announced that Air Adelphi will be launching charter services among the islands of Martinique, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent.

This service will operate three times weekly starting April 15th, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, offering convenient travel options among these destinations.

The schedule is as follows:

Departure from Kingstown (SVD) at 7:30 am, arrival in Castries (SLU) at 7:55 am.

Departure from Castries (SLU) at 8:15 am, arrival in Fort de France (FDF) at 8:30 am.

Departure from Fort de France (FDF) at 9:00 am, arrival in Castries (SLU) at 9:15 am.

Departure from Castries (SLU) at 9:30 am, arrival in Kingstown (SVD) at 9:55 am.

The SLTA also announced that they will embark on a move to enter the Jamaican music, travel and entertainment market. This strategic endeavour follows a partnership with interCaribbean Airways, which has introduced a same-day connection from Jamaica via Barbados with onward connections to Saint Lucia.

Christopher Gustave, Marketing Manager and Rondel Charlery, PR Manager are joined by popular Saint Lucian deejay, Hollywood HP and Brand Ambassador, Daren Sammy on the Jamaican trip.

During their presence in Jamaica from April 2nd – 12th, the SLTA will highlight prominent events such as the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival, ICC Cricket matches, and Saint Lucia Carnival, leveraging Jamaica's vibrant carnival festivities to garner interest,” the Authority explained.

The SLTA adds it will undertake a robust media campaign to amplify outreach efforts and capture the attention of potential travellers.
