London Gets a Taste of Saint Lucia

n Saturday, 24 August Export Saint Lucia teamed up with, Caribbean Grown Manje Ltd to make Saint Lucian-produced goods available on shelves in London.

At a ceremony attended by CEO Sunita Daniel, HE Anthony Severin, Saint Lucia’s Ambassador to London, and members of the Diaspora, products ranging from sole proprietors to large-scale companies packed the shelves of the store located on 57 Stephens Rd, E15 3JJ Plaistow, London.

In June 2023, Export Saint Lucia launched its first store at Pointe Seraphine, housing over 34 brands of locally made products ranging from clothing to snacks, liquor and wellness products. The organization moved one step further with its mobile shop at the IGY Marina which featured heavily during the annual ARC activities and the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival.

A number of the products including Abby’s Chips and Roses’ Confectionery which are featured at the stores have benefited from an upgrade in packaging spearheaded by Export Saint Lucia to get their clients export-ready.

Saint Lucians and West Indians in the Diaspora can look forward to a taste of the region as Export Saint Lucia is set to open their Nooks in New York, Canada and Dubai in the coming months.
