s Lucian Carnival 2025 unfolds in vibrant color and rhythm, organizers say corporate sponsorship is hitting new highs and a commitment to cultural preservation and youth engagement.

At the annual Sponsors Brunch, Chair of the Carnival Planning and Management Committee (CPMC), Tamara Gibson, confirmed that sponsors are increasingly eager to invest in the festival’s future, with several companies already expressing interest in the 2026 Junior Carnival.

Corporate sponsorship has been very, very encouraging. Many of our sponsors are not only coming on board for this year but are already signaling their interest for next year’s Junior Festival. That’s a huge win for cultural continuity,” she explained.

She says the rise in sponsor involvement reflects a wider recognition of Lucian Carnival as more than just a seasonal celebration, but as a national movement that unites communities.

Gibson emphasised that while the Senior Carnival continues to attract increased corporate backing, stakeholders are also rallying around initiatives that deepen youth participation.

We really encourage our sponsors to get involved with the youth festival, and many are doing just that,” she added. “Whether it's pan, calypso, mas, or community-based carnivals, we are building something that involves everyone.”

The Carnival official adds that inclusivity remains one of the festival’s core pillars, and organizers are reminding the public that participation takes many forms.

Whether you’re on the road, at the tents, attending a lecture, or simply cheering from the sidelines, if you’re part of it, you are Carnival. This festival is for everyone.”

By all accounts, Lucian Carnival 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most impactful yet.
