mergency responders from the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) rushed an injured man to hospital on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023, after he was attacked with a machete at Sarot, Castries.
The emergency personnel received a call for assistance at about 3:06 pm. Upon arrival, a 43-year-old man was found with lacerations to his person. The emergency responders treated his injuries before he was transported to the OKEU Hospital. The reason for the attack is currently under investigation by the police.
