Accountants Week 2023!
Accountants in the region are celebrating the annual Accountants Week 2023! starting on 10th of November which is International Accountants Day, through to the 18th of November this year under the theme “Leadership, Ethics, and Integrity – Roadmap to greater Transparency and Accountability.”
The history of accounting as an established practice dates back several millennia and can be tracked as far back as 5,000 B.C. Many services that we enjoy today would not function properly without the services provided by accountants and this includes but is not limited to Government services, banking and financial services and schools.
Chartered Accountants continue to play a significant role in economic development globally and this day is set aside to recognize their contributions. The ICAEC wishes to invite all accountants and associates to join in the upcoming Accountant’s week celebration activities which are scheduled for November 10 - 18, 2023.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Eastern Caribbean (ICAEC) wishes all accountants a Happy International Accounting Day.
