Police Charged Man Who Killed His Father

s police continued intensifying their operations, charges were laid against a 31-year-old accused of fatally stabbing his father.

On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at about 9:57 a.m., Police Officers attached to the Soufriere Police Station responded to a stabbing at New Development, Soufriere.

One male victim who suffered an injury due to a stabbing was conveyed to the Soufriere Hospital for medical care. He succumbed to his injury and was later pronounced dead by a medical practitioner. The deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Ferad Vitalis of Zenon, Soufriere. 31-year-old Feronus Vitalis of Zenon, Soufriere was formally arrested and charged with causing the death of Ferad Vitalis,” the police said in a statement.

Feronus Vitalis was escorted to the Second District Court for bail, where he was remanded into custody.
