Draft Minimum Wage Order Published; Objections, Comments Invited

n exercise of the power conferred under section 77 of the Labour Act, Cap. 16.04, the Minimum and Equal Wages Commission invites comments or objections on the following draft Labour (Minimum Wage) Order

Minimum wage 2.—(1) Subject to subsection (2), the minimum wage is —

(a) one thousand, one hundred and twenty-six dollars per month; or

(b) six dollars and fifty cents per hour.

(2) The minimum wage under subsection (1) does not include other remuneration that an employee is entitled to, such as —

(a) payment for overtime;

(b) a share of service charge;

(d) a bonus; or

(e) profit sharing.
