Police Arrest Man for June 28th Homicide

n Friday, June 28, 2024, the Anse La Raye Police Station responded to a report of a shooting, at Durandeau Millet, which claimed the life of thirty-two-year-old (32) Tanny Cherubin.

Preliminary investigations into this homicide led to the identification and arrest of a suspect; twenty-six-year-old (26) Jesse Charlemagne of Caico, Millet and the Major Crimes Unit spearheaded investigations into this incident.

On Wednesday, 3 July 2024, the Major Crimes Unit formally cautioned and charged Jesse Charlemagne with causing the death of Tanny Cherubin. He was brought before the Magistrate’s Court for a bail hearing, where he was remanded pending an additional hearing.
