Julien Alfred, Michael Joseph, Luc Chevrier and Jayhan Odlum-Smith are the four Saint Lucians who will be representing the country at the Paris Olympics which runs from July 26th to August 11th, 2024.

“We will be providing more information through an advertisement that we expect to be placed on television and social media.”

On the ground in Paris, Casimir reports that the athletes are ready for their competitions and the Olympic Committee is providing mental counseling to support them.

“In terms of most of the preparation, we will be getting them all that they would need mentally to be part of a global event. I think the ministry and the Olympic Committee and the associations have done a good job.”

Michael Joseph will be Saint Lucia’s flag-bearer at the opening ceremony on July 26th.
