ckeem Auguste became the first Saint Lucian batter to score a triple century (308) for a national cricket team.

He smashed Dominica’s Under-23 bowling on the third day of a Bilateral Series reaching the landmark nearing lunch at the Mindoo Phillip Park on Monday, August 19th.

Reflecting on the match, the young cricketer attributes this success to teamwork and support.

I didn't even know about the record, but it's a good achievement knowing that my hard work has paid off. I must commend my teammates as well because I couldn't possibly have done that without them,” he said.

Auguste also commended the efforts of the Dominican squad for their relentless game strategy.

I think they toiled really hard as well because in the first innings one of their batsmen got a hundred runs so you could see it was a good wicket to bat on. I think they bowled very well, they have some good potential in the team.”

Dominica batted first and scored 354 all out in 97 overs.

Dominica batting a second time was bowled out 124 giving Saint Lucia victory by an innings and 10 runs.
