3 Saint Lucians Announced for Women's T20 Squad for ICC World Cup 2024

ricket West Indies' (CWI) selection panel announced a squad on Thursday August 29 for the upcoming ICC T20 Women’s World Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from October 3 to October 20.

The West Indies are in Group B comprising Bangladesh, England, Scotland, and South Africa.

Uncapped player, Saint Lucian Nerissa Crafton, a batting all-rounder has been included in the squad alongside compatriots Qiana Joseph and Zaida James. During the Windward Islands Women’s Tournament in Grenada earlier this year, Crafton scored her maiden century, 125 against Dominica, the only century of the tournament. She was the second-highest scorer with 169 runs.
