Preliminary investigations reveal that Jn Highness was the victim of a shooting.

Meanwhile, investigations continue into the January 15th, 2024 killing of 27-year-old Canice Felicien of Notre Dame Street, Gros Islet. Police confirmed suspicions that Felicien succumbed to a gunshot injury.

“Upon arriving at the scene, Police Officers discovered an individual lying motionless with a gunshot wound to the torso. Emergency Medical Technicians from the Saint Lucia Fire Service attended to the victim but he was later pronounced dead by a medical practitioner,” the RSLPF disclosed.
